Membership/Qualification
- They shall be five (5) man standing committee (Membership Committee) for the purpose of admitting new members(s) to the club
- An intending member who possesses any of the following qualifications may be considered for admission into the club on recommendation of the membership committee.
- First Degree or its Equivalent
- A Grade level 8 official in public service or its equivalent in the private sector.
- A commissioned officer in any of the Armed Forces, Police or paramilitary serving or retired;
- Any Otukpa son or daughter who has distinguished himself/herself in the business with proven integrity3.
- 3. The members of the committee as in Article 3.1(a) shall be appointed by the Executive subject to confirmation by the congress.
- 4. It is mandatory for an intending member(s) to attend three(3) consecutive General Meeting of the club as an observer; and may be registered on the third appearance.
- 5. The Membership Committee shall have the power to screen, Disqualify and or certify person(s) register as member(s) of the club. Registration of all intending members is subject to confirmation by the congress.
- 6. The new member(s) upon registration shall be on probation for a period of not less than six(6) months to qualify for any welfare package except with the occurrence of death of such member
- 7. The term of office of the Membership committee shall lapse with the executives that appoints them.
- 8. Without prejudice to the foregoing, the Executive council may decide to dissolve the Members Committee at any time and shall be reconstituted within one(1) month of such dissolution.e
